Fully Vaccinated People Can Skip Quarantine

Good news for vaccinated persons!

Today, the CDC published interim guidance detailing that vaccinated persone need no longer quarantine upon being exposed to another individual with COVID-19 as long as they meet the following criteria:

Are fully vaccinated (2 weeks following the final second dose of a vaccine series),
Are within 3-months of receiving the last dose in your vaccine series,
Have remained asymptomatic since the most recent COVID exposure.

We should think that point 2 will likely be extended as more information is gathered with time.
