What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is an easy-to-use, HIPAA-compliant way to receive quality medical care virtually rather than in person.

After you request a virtual appointment, your provider sends you a calendar invitation containing a link to complete your digital registration forms. Once completed, simply click the secure link at your scheduled appointment time to meet with your provider online.

Telehealth allows you to receive high-quality medical care from the comfort of your home, making it especially convenient if you live farther away from the office or are unable to travel.

How Does Telehealth Work?

Two-Way HD Video Visits
Meet face-to-face with your provider using secure, high-definition video conferencing.

Prescription Management
Your physician can manage medications and electronically send prescriptions directly to your preferred pharmacy.

Secure Online Payments
Telehealth appointments support secure online payment processing.

HIPAA-Compliant Security
Your medical information and telehealth visits are protected using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology.

What Services Can Be Provided Through Telehealth?

Many routine primary care services can be performed through telehealth. Ask our office if your specific medical concern can be addressed during a virtual visit.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go immediately to your nearest emergency department.

Will Insurance Cover Telehealth?

Most insurance plans now cover telehealth visits. Many plans cover virtual visits just as they do office visits, although coverage varies by insurer and plan.

Please contact your insurance company to verify your telehealth benefits before your appointment.
